Queso Panela is a low butterfat, semi-soft cheese made from whole cheese curds.
These curds are not pressed or ground but left whole and placed in basket molds
which give them their distinctive pattern and shape. With its soft and mild flavor, our
Queso Panela is mostly used in sandwiches or tortas, in Tortilla soup, or simply as
a snacking cheese. It will not melt easily and may water a little under extreme heat.
